Please share this email widely with EPI and BSTA students.

I just met with OHSU Orthopaedics and they are looking for an epi student AND a biostatistics student to do a research PE with Dr. Yoo over multiple terms. This project will most likely pivot to multiple PE opportunities, as well. This will also be posted to the opportunities board, but I wanted to get the word out ASAP. Below are some details about the PE.

• OHSU (hybrid), unpaid, duration of PE is flexible (two terms is encouraged), start date preferred: June 23 (but flexible to start in fall)
• Project: Multiple project opportunities for answering nuanced questions in orthopaedic surgery using large datasets through EPIC Cosmos etc
• Deliverables: Opportunity to own multiple questions - great opportunity for a motivated student looking for a springboard into academia.
• All students, regardless of citizenship status (DACA, undocumented, international) are eligible and encouraged to apply!
